Q: Do you manufacture bathroom cabinetry as well as kitchens?

Yes. Bathroom vanities, shaving cabinets and storage are made at our Braeside factory alongside our kitchen cabinetry, on the same machinery and by the same team. Laundry cabinetry, robes and other built-in joinery are made there too.

Q: Does having your own factory make a renovation cheaper?

Not primarily, and we'd rather be straight about that. Manufacturing our own cabinetry is about control, not cost. It means fewer things get lost between businesses, problems get fixed faster, and what you approved is what gets built. Where it does save you money is in the things that go wrong less often.

Q: Are benchtops made in your factory too?

No. We make the cabinetry. Benchtops, splashbacks, hardware and door materials come from established suppliers like Caesarstone, Blum, Polytec and Laminex. That's deliberate: those suppliers keep colours and profiles available for years, so if a panel ever needs replacing it can still be matched.

Q: What happens if something is damaged or needs remaking?

It goes back to our own factory floor. Because we control the production queue, we can prioritise a remake rather than waiting for an outside manufacturer to fit it in around their other customers.

Q: Do you sell cabinetry on its own, or supply other renovators?

Our factory makes cabinetry for Rosemount renovations. We're a full design, manufacture and installation company rather than a cabinetry supplier, so we don't sell cabinetry separately or supply flat-pack.

Many kitchen and bathroom companies design your new space, then send it out to be built by someone else. We do both. Your cabinetry is manufactured at our own factory in Braeside, by our own team, to the design you signed off on.

Why It Matters Who Builds Your Cabinetry

Design and production under one roof

Most renovation companies are designers and installers. They’ll plan your kitchen or bathroom and fit it, but the cabinetry itself is ordered from a third-party manufacturer they don’t control.

That usually works. When it doesn’t, you’re the one caught in the middle, waiting while two businesses work out whose problem it is.

Rosemount owns both ends. Your designer’s drawings go to our own detailing team, and our own factory builds from them.

What that changes

When the people designing your new space and the people building it work for the same business, small things get resolved before they become problems. A tricky corner, an unusual ceiling height, a change you asked for after the design appointment.

Every job is redrawn and checked in-house before anything is cut. If something needs remaking, it goes back onto our own factory floor rather than into a queue at another company.

We buy these in deliberately. Blum hardware carries a lifetime guarantee, and the major Australian board and door suppliers keep colours available for years, so if you ever need a panel replaced it can still be matched. Smaller suppliers often discontinue a finish within months.

From your first showroom visit to the day your kitchen or bathroom is installed, you're dealing with one company. There's no supplier for us to point at, and nobody for you to chase.

Your design survives to the factory floor

What your designer drew is what our detailers redraw and what our machines cut. Intent doesn't get lost in translation between businesses.

Checked before anything is cut

Every job is redrawn and reviewed in-house against the final check measure. Most problems come from measurements and miscommunication, and this is where we catch them.

Problems fixed, not negotiated

If a panel is wrong or damaged, it goes back to our own factory. We control the queue, so we control how fast it's fixed.

From Showroom To Installation

Visit a showroom
See finished kitchens, bathrooms and laundries, compare finishes and hardware in person, and get a feel for the quality of the build before you commit to anything.
In-home design appointment
Your designer works through layout, storage and finishes in your own space. There's no design fee.
Check measure
Once you're happy with the design, our technical rep visits to measure and confirm every detail, then prepares final working drawings.
Detailing and redraw
Our in-house detailing team redraws the job into our manufacturing system and double-checks every specification before production starts.
Manufacture
Your cabinetry is cut, edged and assembled at our factory in Braeside.
Installation
Delivered and installed by tradespeople we've worked with for years, with a project manager you can call at any stage.

How Long Manufacturing Takes

Manufacturing begins once your design is finalised and the check measure is complete. Times vary by door material.
