“Wow” is the word people say when they see this kitchen in the Melbourne Bayside suburb of Brighton.
Its stunning contrast between black granite benchtops and white high gloss cabinetry evokes an elegant and luxurious feel.
Our clients had a clear idea in mind for their new kitchen, and our designer went to work to create a space that was not only beautiful, but functional for their large family gatherings.
The owners wanted a sleek, clean and modern kitchen. To achieve this, they chose:
Handleless components, which open automatically with a single touch, came courtesy of Blum SERVODRIVE.
Entertaining is important to the clients and this was a key factor in the overall design process.
A butlers panty allows for extra storage of food and cookware, and also means the kitchen can remain tidy while entertaining.
Using drawers throughout means that the clients’ extensive collection of crockery, glassware and serving platters are easily stored and rolled out with ease. Better than having to bend down and reach to the back of cupboards.
It’s all a big contrast from the previous kitchen, which was small and faced a different direction.
By using the length of the room, the new design allows room for two ovens and extra storage, as well as the large island bench that can be used for buffet-style serving, cooking and preparation.
Another important design feature was a cabinet for the display of prized possessions.
All in all, one of our favourite Melbourne kitchen renovations.

Rosemount made this an easy and mostly seamless undertaking for us and the results are significantly better than we anticipated. To say we are delighted with our new kitchen is a gross understatement. It is just sensational.
Rosemount were by far the best of the trades we dealt with in our whole renovation, and continue to be. And we had a great kitchen designer who was clearly excited about doing something a bit different and edgier. He really brought some of my ideas in the kitchen to life.
We have referred loads of people to Rosemount. They weren’t the cheapest company but for me it’s about the quality of the product. You get what you pay for.
I’m sure we could have done our reno cheaper (although we did have a more expensive quote), but we couldn’t have done it better or had a smoother trouble free experience with such great trades and final result.
Our decision to contract Rosemount resulted in a high end result, within budget and on time. The company’s wonderful team had the expertise, experience and dedication to guide the project from start to finish making the renovation a great experience and not a burden.
A complete kitchen renovation was performed with as little disruption as possible to our household. Having had plenty of work done around the house over the years, I recognise and appreciate quality work, and Rosemount provide that in abundance. They’re also terrific people to deal with.
We’re thrilled with how the kitchen renovation has turned out. It’s gone from the darkest to the lightest room in the house. It looks so beautiful and I just love it.
Everyone within the company is fantastic, from the reps to the managers/owners to the tradesmen. We couldn’t have asked for a better team to look after this build.
